My approach

Providing Life and Career Coaching, my main aim is to work with individuals at a deep level, to help facilitate their own personal and professional growth.

I endeavour to connect with people and their emotions to ensure their coaching journey is meaningful to them. If you think of times in your life where you’ve been truly motivated, it’s likely that it had been driven by an emotion. I work with clients to identify these emotions, enabling clarity and motivation to progress towards their personal or professional goals.

Having felt the genuine and rewarding impact that coaching had on my life, I’m excited to be able to share this impact with others.

My journey

First and foremost, I’ve always had a desire to help people. Perhaps coming from a Mediterranean background, this was instilled in me! This desire has led me to where I am today, and I feel incredibly positive about the impact I can make as a coach.

My Career has certainly been a journey. Starting out from university as a Chartered Tax Advisor within the Big 4 and Banking sector, I then changed direction slightly and moved into Recruitment within the same sector(s) and specialism.

Underpinning both professions was the need to be solution and results driven, and I had extreme confidence issues in both professions, always wondering ‘am I doing enough’, or, ‘am I doing the right thing’, sometimes referred to as the imposter syndrome. However, without realising it, I was unofficially coaching people within my place of work, and it was this element of my career that I was drawn to and wanted to explore. After being made redundant, I had much time to reflect, and I embarked on an ICF accredited course to become what I am now; a Coach.

Alongside my career, I have had personal struggles which required time and effort from myself to allow me to grow and build confidence, which has enabled a deep level of empathy when working with people - and receiving coaching has had a big part to play in this. All these lessons and experiences combined, I believe, contribute to me being able to get to the core of what holds back many of my clients, giving them clarity and in effect, help empower them.

As a qualified Coach, I offer (online) coaching to individuals on a 1:1 basis and also in workplace environments.

You’re in safe hands

Coaching isn’t a regulated industry, so I felt it was important to train amongst experienced professionals and under a recognised training body with core competencies and ethics that must be followed for both mine and my clients benefit and protection. I am qualified under the International Coaching Federation (ICF) having undergone training with an ICF recognised training provider. I am also ACC certified which means I have undergone further review and supervision in my practice, adding another layer to my qualification. Having trained under the ICF, this means I can coach globally, and not just UK based clients.
