What is coaching?

Coaching is a platform for people to be completely open and honest with themselves about what they want, or maybe why they haven’t achieved what they want, in a confidential and safe space.

The primary method of coaching I deliver is called Transformational coaching. This style of coaching isn’t just about solving the problem or making changes in the way you act – it’s more than that.  It’s also about making changes to the way you see yourself, enabling clarity and self-development.

As a coach, my role is to guide, challenge and encourage you through your journey which we will embark on together as a partnership.

It’s important to note that coaching is not counselling, whilst we may touch on past experiences, the purpose of coaching is to be future focused. Coaching is also not to be confused with mentoring as I will not be telling you how to act or what to do based on experiences.

What will I get out of Coaching?

You may be wondering what you will get from coaching, and what does this all mean?!

Coaching is very much future focused, and so the focus will be for you to move forward by working on what it is you want to achieve for your future self. Coaching isn’t restricted to just one area of your life; aspirations and goals can range from:

  • increased performance,

  • increased assertiveness and resilience,

  • job promotion,

  • career change,

  • controlling your emotions,

  • feeling more energised,

  • strengthened self belief,

  • strengthened confidence and much more.

It’s what is personal to you.

My role as your coach is to guide you throughout your journey by challenging you along the way so that the goal becomes your reality, and allows for long term sustainable change.

All coaching sessions will take place online.
